Challenge:

To capture fine particulate composed of fibers and resins after existing venture wet scrubber.

Scope of work: 

Southern Environmental, Inc. provided detailed design, engineering, material supply, construction supervision, field construction and start-up services for a four module, upflow Membrane Wet ESP.

The single-field unit employs inlet and outlet poppet damper valves for module isolation. The total project scope included erection of the modules including inlet and outlet plenums and damper valves.

Application:

• Fiberglass Curing Lines - 310,000 ACFM of 95° F saturated gas after venturi wet scrubbers
